Power Saver Power Saver is my series of individual assignments I developed for the IoT 2021 course. About Power Saver The aim of power saver is to optimize the power consumption in working places. This is achieved by sensing the environment to detect potential power wastefulness, in terms of artificial lights and heating/cooling system, in the rooms inside a building. This is achieved by using ambient light intensity and ambient temperature sensors, which periodically measure the light intensity (in lux) and temperature (in °C) respectively. The concept of "power wastefulness" is defined by the following events: The lights are on inside a room and the ambient light intensity exceeds a given threshold*. The lights are on inside a room while outside the usual working hours (e.g. at night). The current season is Summer (therefore the a/c is supposed to be turned on) and the room's temperature falls below the given lower threshold* (i.e. the a/c is...
